Kyle Friedman splits her time between two roles for consulting firm Accenture, acting as a Client Data Protection Architect and U.S. Data Privacy Officer. In the former role, Kyle assists consulting projects in the Application Outsourcing division properly manage access to sensitive client data. This includes identifying legal and contractual data protection mandates and ensuring those directives are practiced throughout the lifetime of the engagement. In her latter role, Kyle deals with internal sensitive personal data, including investigating possible breaches, evaluating emerging legislation, and assisting internal functional groups follow industry best practices. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Government and Information Technology.

Prior to joining Accenture Kyle received her Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law, where she served as an editor on the Maine Law Review, President of the Association for Law and Innovation, and published an article depicting the duality of antitrust and intellectual property laws. She is a recipient of the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law and the International Association of Privacy Professionals Privacy Summit Scholarship. Her interest in data privacy was sparked during her internship with the Digital Policy Group, an online management and consulting group.
