Statton Hammock is Vice-President, Head of IP Strategy, Government & Industry Relations for Clarivate Analytics’ Intellectual Property Group which includes leading IP companies: CompuMark®, Derwent®, Darts-IP® and MarkMonitor®. Statton leads a highly functioning team that helps companies establish, expand and protect their most valuable intellectual property assets - trademarks, copyrights, patents, and domain names. He advocates at ICANN, INTA and before government agencies around the world for stronger regulations and policies that support the rights of intellectual property owners. Previously, Statton served as legal counsel for several registrars, registries, and aftermarket providers in the domain name industry including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, and NameJet.

Statton received his Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Virginia and holds a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.
